Steven Rubin, CFP®
Chief Operating Officer
Steven joined our firm in 2016. He is our Chief Operating Officer and an LPL financial advisor. Steven is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an integral part of our service commitment and client experience. In addition to advising clients, Steven helps our team with portfolio construction, trading, general client service, and the various asset movement processes. He also plays a key part in the decision-making process for our firm’s marketing, communications, and overall practice management.
Steven has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, having spent over a decade working in the commercial banking sector as both a commercial lender and credit analyst. He is a 2004 graduate of Appalachian State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with College of Business and General Honors and a degree in Finance & Banking. Steven was a recipient of the prestigious Chancellor’s Scholarship, which is the top academic scholarship at Appalachian State University.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys playing golf, exercising, visiting the mountains, and watching any competitive sport, especially if his children are playing. Steven and his wife Anna reside in Winston-Salem with their two children Lincoln and Silas.
